Strike

All your face-up creatures get the Strike action added to your pool when you choose the Battle Event. During a Battle Event, your creatures also have First Strike against active blockers. To Strike:

  1. You target a creature zone (typically your opponent's)
  2. If the targeted zone has a creature, that creature must block the attack (passive block)
  3. If not, another creature can actively block if they connect to the targeted zone
  4. If there is a blocker, both creatures fight
  5. If there is no blocker, the controller of the targeted zone is hit for 1 HP, and draws a card

Fighting

In a fight, both creatures deal damage equal to their Might Stat to each other simultaneously. If at any point (as a state-based action) the damage counters on a creature equal or exceed their Life Stat, they are destroyed. Note that damage counters are NOT cleared at any step and stay forever.

However, during a Battle Event, your creatures have First Strike against active blockers: your attacker deals its damage first, and if the active blocker is destroyed, it does not deal damage back. Passive blocks are always simultaneous.
