The Battlefield

Unlike other TCGs where cards are just dumped into a loosely defined "play area", Dimensional Rift has a structured battlefield with specific zones. Where you place and how you orient a card are a critical part of the game's strategy.

Layout

Each player has their own side of the battlefield, which is a mirror image of the opponent's. Your side has:

• 5 Creature Zones: your front row (closer to your opponent)
• 5 Artifact Zones: your back row (closer to you)
• 1 Monument Zone: a separate zone off to the side
