Welcome to Dimensional Rift
Dimensional Rift is a 2-player competitive card game heavily inspired by classic Yu-Gi-Oh! and other TCGs, where positioning of your cards on the battlefield is of utmost importance, and the luck of the draw is mitigated by access to the powerful Fables Deck.
Goal
Each player starts with 6 Hit Points (HP). You win by reducing your opponent's HP to 0, and you do that by striking undefended zones with your creatures. That is the only win-con of the game; there are no "win now" cards nor decking out.
Materials
- Two decks (a Main Deck of 20 cards and the corresponding 7-card Fables Deck for each player)
- Two 6-sided dice (or some other way to track HP)
- Markers or tokens (for conquered zones, damage counters, mana counters, and conditions)
- A playmat or flat surface with a grid (you can use your imagination, draw, or use a Yu-Gi-Oh! playmat)
