Orientation

Orientation refers to which possible 90-degree rotation a card on the field has. Cards can only be oriented in the 4 orthogonal directions, so either top up, left up, right up or bottom up (upside down).

Cards in Dimensional Rift do not tap, exhaust or exert, and there is no "defense position". The rotation of a card is chosen by the summoner exclusively to enable their plays by having its arrows be in an advantageous orientation.

Face-down cards have no Orientation as they have not yet been summoned, but conventionally they are set in the "normal" (top up) orientation.
