Knowledge Stat

The Knowledge Stat of a card has two purposes:

• when the card is summoned, mana equivalent to the value of their Knowledge is collected on the card
• if the card is set, before it is summoned, you can sac it face-down through the Hidden Knowledge process for paying for costs

You can never get both benefits of the Knowledge of a single card. Either it is sac'd face down, or it is eventually summoned.
