Monuments

Monuments are rarer, extremely resilient cards that can affect the entire battlefield (even your opponent's cards!). They are unique in that they do not have arrows and do not interact with the targeting system, making them immune to most effects.

• Can only be played face-up (never set face-down)
• Cannot target or be targeted: they exist outside the targeting grid. They might use the word choose to refer to selecting cards at activation, but they do not have arrow restrictions to this selection.
• Only one monument zone per player, and it must be Conquered before used.
